DVEO - HD-SDI Master Quad/i PCIe

DVEO,will showcase their new four channel HD-SDI PCIe capture card, the HD-SDI Master Quad/i PCIe, at IBC. The HD-SDI Master Quad/i PCIe simultaneously brings in four independent HD streams to a PC workstation, making it a very effective input card for HD broadcasters and content providers. The high bandwidth available with PCI Express gives the card a total bitrate of almost 6 Gbps. The HD-SDI Master Quad/i PCIe is especially useful for ingesting multiple HD streams to a workstation for storage and editing.

With the HD-SDI Master Quad/i, users can select either 1.485 Gbps or 1.4835 (1.485/1.001) Gbps for the top and/or the bottom two channels -- to support video formats defined for true 60 Hz rates, as well as those defined for the 59.94 Hz rates commonly used in North America. Supported video formats include 1080i and 720p at 60 Hz and 59.94 Hz rates. Other features include onboard memory and a proprietary firmware design, to give low system latency. The card also monitors the incoming streams for CRC errors.
