QSC Debuts New Digital Cinema Processor
A comprehensive digital cinema processor for both d-cinema upgrades and new installations, the new DCP 300 from QSC Audio Products will make its debut at ShoWest in Las Vegas. Combining 16-channel digital input capability with DSP crossovers, 1/3-octave EQ, booth monitor and Ethernet-based control, the DCP 300 can also receive 10 channels of analog inputs from legacy 35mm film processors. Dual power supplies further complement the package, along with complete parameter backup via SD memory card.
Full compatibility with QSC's DCA amplifiers allows the power of the DCP 300 to be added to applications converting to digital projection without the need for replacing existing amps. User interface is simple and intuitive, using a color LCD touchscreen, placing virtually any imaginable d-cinema processing function at your fingertips. The DCP 300 has a suggested retail price of $8,000.
