3-D Primer at NAB

Phil Streather, producer of acclaimed IMAX 3D film Bugs!, offers an illuminating journey through the technical minefield of live action 3D: depth, out of screen, negative and positive parallax, depth budget, cropping masks, floating windows - ah - such fun!

Along with Ralston Humble, of Pinewood UK’s PabloPost, Phil will use clips from a selection of 3D material to illustrate the key concepts behind successful (and not so successful!) 3D - all live on a Quantel Pablo 4K. The idea is to give attendees a visual tool kit, with which to become marginally more interesting to talk to in the bar!!
