Editopia Releases Groundbreaking Encoding Solution

Editopia, an open source technology company for the online video market, today announces the release of NCode, a server-side video encoding solution that enables web developers to easily add video to flash encoding to their websites. NCode will encode virtually any video format to FLV. Its open source and free to use licensed under the GPL. An enterprise edition will soon be available offering support, indemnification and rights for fee based codecs.

NCode supports multiple codecs including H.264 and is entirely cross platform and scaleable with an image processing pipeline making it potentially the most powerful server-side encoding application available to web developers. NCode currently supports both PHP & Java programming environments.
